Hi, I’m Cathy, the founder of GlimightyX, and like many of you, I’m a self-taught nail enthusiast who fell in love with the art of polygel nail extensions. But let’s be real—my journey hasn’t been all glitter and rainbows. In fact, it’s been a lot of trial, error, and frustration. And that’s exactly why this brand exists.

It all started with a simple problem: my nails are flat. Like, really flat. Sure, there’s a slight curve, but not enough to work with the curved dual forms that dominate the market. Every time I tried to create my dream nails, I ran into the same issues: the forms lifting at the cuticle, bubbles forming, and gaps appearing between the polygel and my natural nail. I’d press down hard, only to have the polygel spill out on the sides. I even tried holding the forms in place under the lamp, but that just left me with thin, fragile nails that snapped way too easily. Sound familiar?

I knew I couldn’t be the only one struggling with this. I scoured the internet, ordered countless dual forms from different brands, and joined online communities to see if anyone else shared my frustration. Turns out, I wasn’t alone. So many of you out there have flat nails, and we’ve all been forced to make do with products that just weren’t designed for us. It felt like the nail industry had forgotten about us—the flat-nailed, the slightly-curved, the ones who just wanted a seamless, comfortable fit.

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I reached out to manufacturers, shared my ideas, and worked tirelessly to create a solution. After countless prototypes and late-night experiments, I finally developed what I had been searching for: flat dual forms and pre-etched designs that actually work for flat nails. No more lifting, no more gaps, no more frustration. Just smooth, beautiful nails that fit like they were meant to be there.
